The Mouth Burt Grossman

Today's episode, the guys are thrilled to speak to a smash mouth athlete from the area, garnering not just local attention but national pride. From his beginnings at Archbishop Carroll to his dominating efforts at Pittsburgh, culminating in, of course,  his flamboyant and oppressive career in the NFL as a part of the San Diego Chargers. The guys invite none other than The Mouth himself, 

Burt Grossman, 

Grossman was a standout defensive lineman at Archbishop Carroll High School in Pennsylvania, earning All-State honors. He went on to play college football at the University of Pittsburgh, where he became a dominant force on the defensive line and earned All-American recognition. In 1989, he was selected 8th overall in the first round of the NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. Grossman played six seasons in the NFL, recording 43.5 sacks.
